Week four is rolling around already and I'm thoroughly enjoying this bunch of kids. Class routines are beginning to be established, we're getting to know each other and my expectations around behaviour / the standard of learning are beginning to be understood.

This coming week looks to be a challenging one for the students as the programme consists almost entirely of testing and out of class activities such as two trips to the Aquatic Centre for swimming sports, Playhouse performance, Rippa trials and the Parfitt Kids fundraiser. We'll be squeezing some more of our statistics unit in (so far we've only dipped our toes into this one); doing as much reading and writing as possible and continuing our chromebook journey!

I would encourage you to check out the "What's On" section of the class site to get an idea of the schedule for this week, as well as touching base with your child to see what they've achieved in their writing. Get them to bring their book home and show you the writing activities we've been doing, which are all available through the "Writing" section of the class site.

Any questions just flick me an email.

Rock on,

Mr M
