Kia Ora All,

A while ago I asked the students to show their parents the blog profile they wrote in class and the picture they had taken of themselves to go with it. Tomorrow we're setting up our blogs, if you don't want your child to include a picture of themselves please email me to let me know and I'll sort an alternative. Also, please review the profile they wrote if you have not already do so. 

I was thinking of giving the students the option of putting up the character description they wrote earlier in the term as an example of a piece of writing they had done. Please let me know if you don't want that piece up for any reason (I can't think of any that shouldn't be up there, but just giving you the option).

They will be getting an invitation to be the author of their blog tonight. I've already told them not to open it. If they talk to you about it tonight please get them to hold off until Tuesday at school, where we'll do it together.
