Jelly, Bread and Other Mid-Week Madness

Kia ora All,

Tomorrow I'm aiming to actually bake the bread we've been writing our recipe for. If you have a large mixing bowl (preferably plastic) that you could send along with your child that would be great. Also, in the recipe we looked at on youtube, the baker used a baking tin to bake the bread in. I've never bothered with a baking tin, but if you want to send one along with your child they could bake their bread in that. Wish me luck!

We've started constructing our rainbow jellies. This is going to take longer than anticipated, hoping to get them finished by Friday.

Also, in our reading this week we've been looking at global warming. This ties in with our measurement maths and writing focus as a lot of the material deals with how scientists measure the effects of greenhouse gasses, sea level rise etc. As part of home learning you might like to ask your child to show you their Global Warming Contract and look at doing some extra research into some of the questions they've generated.

Rock On,

Mr M
